Great printer

I got tired of the Canon MX315 I bought last year and looked for a replacement. The Canon worked ok but it had an annoying problem. It took an extremely long time for the first page of a print job to start. It went through a long cycle where it prepped the print heads. Anyway, this Lexmark is a great printer-quiet and fast and the first page comes out quickly. I love the double sided printing too. It has Airprint so I can print directly from my iPhone. Only one little bug... when we get a power hit, it looses the wireless connection and goes offline and the only way I can seem to get it working again is to reload the software. Otherwise this would be 5 stars.

Two-sided Printing FAIL

We ordered this printer and -- suddenly -- two-sided printing would not work. The company replaced the printer with another version of the same model, which was nice. They sent the new printer and then we sent back the bad printer after. So we could at least use the limited functions while we waited for the new printer to come. But, again, the two-sided printing will not work. It is not a software issue, I spent hours on the phone with them confirming that. They had me do a two-sided copy test and made the order for the new printer when it spat out two sheets instead of one, two-sided sheet. I'm not looking forward to going over all that on the phone again; hopefully they will send another printer and hopefully this one will work. But, that is two versions of this same model that have the same hardware defect. I do not recommend buying this printer, but I like this companies customer service and, hopefully, a they have a good printer out there somewhere.

Decent Printer at a decent Price

Purchased this printer at a major discount thru Frys Electronics. First time buyer of Lexmark printer, however, so far all good. The only problem i encountered was that this printer only picks up wireless N routers. Unfortunately, my router only picks up G/B signals. Not really the company's fault as i should have read the specs. I had to connect the printer via ethernet; not a true wireless setup, but it does the job. Now i can print from all my devices: PC, laptop, tablet, and phone.
